Originally illustrated by Venezuelan artist Valeria Savino for NEREA's MACUTO Collection, Playa Grande captures the quiet beauty and everyday life of one of Macuto's most beloved beaches.

For us, Macuto has always been more than a destination. It is where long afternoons stretched into sunsets, where conversations lingered beneath beach umbrellas, and where the rhythm of the Caribbean became part of our memories.

When the devastating earthquake of June 24, 2026 struck Venezuela's central coast, affecting Macuto and its surrounding communities, this illustration took on a deeper meaning.

What was originally created to celebrate the beauty and spirit of Macuto has become a way to preserve those memories and support the people who continue to call this place home.

Today, Playa Grande is part of Memories of MACUTO, a special Fine Art Edition created through an artistic collaboration between NEREA and Valeria Savino.

Each purchase directly supports communities affected by the earthquake through NEREA's selected humanitarian partner in Venezuela.
